During your stay in Poland I think you would like to get know polish culture and tradition. One of the typical polish traditions is saying goodbye to winter and welcome to springtime. This is done by burning or drowning in the river a special prepared big doll which is called "marzanna". This doll is a symbol of winter of course. The day to do it is of course the first day of spring, which is 21rd of March.
